CXO Lecture Series - 1


Inline with our mission of engaging with the Government, Industry and other stakeholders, ISiM is launching the “CXO Lecture Series” – a series of lectures from chiefs of the corporate/government sector. CXO lectures are intended to encourage the CEO’s, CFO’s, COO’s, CGO’s (Chief Government Officer) and others to share their thoughts and vision on the current issues. These series of lectures are platforms for students to listen to and interact with the eminent experts from the government/ corporate who would be sharing their expertise. This is yet another initiative from ISiM to bridge the gap between the academia, government and the industry, which is the broad vision of the institution. The first in the series of CXO lectures starts this week, the details of which are below.

Mr. M.N. Vidyashankar brings with him vast experience in understanding the dynamics of eGovernance. He has served the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) for over 25 years now and also holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, USA. He has worked in several wings of the government. He was the Chief Electoral Officer & Ex-officio Principal Secretary to Government, DPAR (Elections), Principal Secretary to the Government of Karnataka, Dept. of Information Technology, Biotechnology and Science & Technology between October 2006 and March 2008.

    My question is how to overcome Bribe after implementing eGovernance in India.
